Bradley Walsh introduced contestants David, Ciaran, Kelly and Tony to Anne Hegerty tonight on The Chase all hoping to win as much money as possible to take home with them. But, after Anne gave the audience a glimpse into her singing talents, she was forced to tell Bradley to ‘shut up’ after he gave her an unreasonable request.

David, Ciaran, Kelly and Tony were all hoping to beat off the chaser tonight long enough to secure the jackpot earned throughout the show.
David was up first and when Bradley asked him what he did, he revealed he was a retired sales director, but he was now involved in local party politics.
He explained he was a member of the Labour party and even stood as a candidate in the 2015 general election.
David wanted to go on holiday if he won, but his wife had decided they should instead get a new kitchen, and the time had arrived for David to meet chaser Anne.

Anne gave David the offer to keep the £6,000 he had earned or go for £1,000 or £36k and to his fellow contestants delight he played for the high offer.
Anne told David he was a very strong player so she would need to catch him quickly.
He was faced with the following question: Which Motown singer’s name is the title of a 2015 song by Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth?
The options were Marvin Gaye, Lionel Richie or Smokey Robinson and David knew straight away the answer was Marvin Gaye.
The host continued to probe: “Can you twerk? Go on do a twerk.”
Anne smiled and admitted she had twerked on stage before but she wouldn’t do it tonight.
She added that it was a terrifying sight to behold and the host quickly moved on.
Contestant David really proved his worth tonight and was able to win the £36k to take into the final with him.
Ciaran was up next and very quickly it became clear he was also a strong player, going onto take £6,000 into the final with him giving them a total of £42k.
However, it was Tony’s day today and unfortunately, he was sent home, leaving Kelly to bring it home.
Kelly did not prove to be a strong player and didn’t raise much in the cash builder round and then took a minus 6k offer, which would mean this would come off the final jackpot if she got through.
She did get through and as she was heading back to the team she looked embarrassed to have taken the minus offer.
It was time for the final and with three of them there, the odds were looking good.
At the last minute and with 36k on the line, Kelly, David and Ciaran were able to beat Anne Hegerty to the money and to say they were thrilled would be an understatement.
The Chase airs on ITV weekdays at 5pm.
