Steve Bing, best known for writing 2003’s Kangaroo Jack and 1984 movie Missing in Action, has died. He was 55-years-old.
A spokesperson for the LA County Coroner’s Office told US publication TheWrap that the office responded to a death located in the 10,000 block of Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles where a man was pronounced dead at 13:10 on Monday.
TheWrap claimed identification of the deceased is still pending, they reported that the owner of the building confirmed that it was Bing.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ the producer “died by suicide” after jumping from the 27th floor.
The publication noted that sources close to Bing told them he had been “depressed” during quarantine due to the lack of human contact, but they could not confirm whether this was the cause behind the reported “suicide”.
