Vanessa Morgan has been an integral member of the Riverdale cast since she landed the role of Toni Topaz in season two. Ahead of the show’s continuation on The CW and Netflix, the star took to Twitter to reveal the first picture of her baby son.
Riverdale’s Vanessa Morgan thrilled her Twitter followers with a brand new ultrasound picture of her baby son.
The post depicts the growing baby’s ‘big foot’, with the actress describing her son as a ‘lil kicker’.
She revealed her first child is expected to be born in January 2021.
The actress has played Toni Topaz since she joined the cast of Riverdale for season two in a recurring role, whereupon she was promoted to series regular for seasons three and four.

Morgan’s first child is with husband Michael Kopech, to whom she had been married five months before he filed for divorce in June.
The Riverdale star previously posted a gender reveal confirming the sex of her first baby on Instagram.
She said: “This little guy has already brought me so much happiness and a feeling of such a greater purpose. I cannot wait to meet you!!
Morgan, who began her career as a child actress, expressed her desire to keep her son away from the spotlight.
Toni was introduced as a member of the Southside Serpents, and has since formed her own gang, the Pretty Poisons, with her girlfriend Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch).
Riverdale left fans on tenterhooks when the fourth season was forced to wrap up prematurely amid the outbreak of coronavirus.
Episode 19, Killing Mr Honey, left the latest instalment on a major cliffhanger when it appeared Principal Honey (Kerr Smith) was murdered by the videotape killers.
Although the show’s filming location of Vancouver has given the go ahead for TV production to continue, it is still unclear when the cast and crew will feel safe enough to continue.
In the meantime, the cast’s activity off-set has indicated the next season could feature some major shake ups.
Following the surge of Black Lives Matter protests, Vanessa Morgan herself spoke up against the show’s treatment of BAME members of the cast.
After taking a backseat during the murder mystery surrounding Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse), fans are hopeful Toni Topaz will be front and centre when the series finally returns.
