How many children does Rio Ferdinand have?
Rio has three children from his first marriage.
His late wife Rebecca Ellison died in 2015 after a short battle with cancer.
Rio has previously opened up about life after Rebecca died and how much the kids love Kate in his documentary Rio And Kate: Becoming A Stepfamily.

Rio’s eldest child is Lorenz.
He is 13-years-old
Meet Tate, who is Rio’s middle child.
He is 11-years-old.
Nine-year-old Tia is Rio’s youngest, until the new baby comes along.
She is also Rio’s only daughter.

What has Rio Ferdinand said about parenting?
After Rebecca died, and before he met Kate, Rio took on the role of being a single parent.
He was hailed for his honestly in his 2017 documentary Being Mum and Dad.
He spoke about taking on the role of mum after his wife died, he said: “Your appreciation for mothers and how they cope and how they deal with the school run, just doing that… there’s so much more that goes into it that mums do, that many of us men don’t even consider.
“The preparation that goes into it the night before, uniforms, books, breakfasts – and the first time [after] that they had to go to school, and before I knew it they were late.
“And I did think, what am I going to do?
“It doesn’t matter how much money you’ve got, or if you’re in the public eye or not, I think we all come under the same type of stresses at that point.”

They revealed the news on June 18, 2020.
Kate has yet to reveal when her baby is due – however, she is already showing a bump, so it could be either autumn or winter 2020.
