Lose weight 'fast' in the New Year with key foods – 'fascinating' results during menopause

Doctor Nisa Aslam and nutritionist Suzie Sawyer revealed that six in 10 adults in England are overweight or obese but luckily, the New Year is the perfect opportunity to get in good shape. They explained that a combination of amino acids, vitamins and botanicals can make weight loss “a little bit easier”. 

The healthy combination can be found in supplements and vitamins such as Aminoscience Metabolism Support capsules, which the doctors recommended.

“In fact, one study found that, when consumed with glucose, leucine reduced the blood glucose response and increased the insulin response. Insulin resistance inhibits how cells respond to glucose and leads to high blood glucose levels, which is thought to promote weight gain and even type 2 diabetes.”

Nutritionist Suzie Sawyer added that there is “fascinating clinical evidence” indicating that dietary leucine supplementation can reduce obesity, decrease arterial blood pressure, resist oxidation and normalise blood vessel dysfunction.

In essence, amino acids make you feel fuller while stopping you from feeling hungry and play a key role in helping regulate thyroid hormones which work on “body weight regulation, mainly through regulating energy expenditure,” explained Suzie Sawyer.
