Jimmy – who abruptly announced he’ll be taking time off last week – admitted to imitating rapper Snoop in a podcast from 2013, which was obtained by Fox News.

In the song, Jimmy references “a fat n***** in a sleigh giving s*** away”, as well as a “n***** in the manger”.

He also raps: “I told that motherf***er Santa, bring a pick for my afro.”

The album was co-produced by the presenter and credits him for nearly all “comedy material”, including on this track, according to the original cassette.

Speaking about the track in 2013, Jimmy confirmed podcast host Adam Carolla’s comment that he was “doing Snoop”, explaining: “This is when Snoop Dogg first came out, hit the scene, and I used to imitate him by only saying, ‘You know what I’m saying?’”

Jimmy also talked about his time on “Kevin & Bean” and recalled once calling the president of Comedy Central” using the voice of George Wallace from a New York hotel room during a boozy night with friends.

Adam said Jimmy adopted a “crazy black voice” to impersonate George and the chat show host replied, in a George voice, “I just wanna say I had a great time, and thank you for inviting me!”

He added: “A lot of people thought it was George Wallace.”

Jimmy has also come under fire for using blackface during his time on the Comedy Central series The Man Show from 1999 to 2004.

In the newly-resurfaced clips, the comedian did impersonations of NBA player Karl Malone and a parody of Oprah Winfrey, called “Oprah Jimfrey”.

Amid the backlash, Jimmy revealed he’s taking a summer hiatus from his late-night chat show.

He announced: “I’m taking the summer off to spend even more time with my family.

“I’ve been doing this job for almost 18 years. I’ve done 3,130 shows and there’s nothing wrong. My family is healthy, I’m healthy. I just need a couple of months off.”

Jimmy said that during the break, “a cavalcade of very kind and capable people will be filling in” for him on his shows going forward.

Earlier this week, he was called out for making “gross jokes” when Megan Fox told him in a 2009 interview that director Michael Bay to “dance in a bikini” at 15 years old.
