Jeremy Clarkson, 60, gave a rare insight into his life with his girlfriend Lisa Hogan during lockdown. The Grand Tour host and his partner have been keeping themselves busy at their Chipping Norton home.
The former Top Gear presenter has now revealed his girlfriend latest venture has been growing vegetables but it may not be what she quite expected.
In his latest column for The Times, Jeremy revealed that maintaining woodland is not at all easy.
He wrote: “Alan Titchmarsh recently said that all plants want to grow, saying ‘It’s just up to us not to get in the way’. That, Alan, is b*****ks.
“Lisa loved the idea of growing vegetables on the basis that all the work was done by a little man from the village and all she had to do on a summer’s evening was wander around with a watering can and a trug.”

“But because she’s now been exposed to the brutal reality of full-on vegetable farming, I suspect that 90 minutes after the restaurants reopen, she will be in Sloane Square.”
Jeremy admitted to he purchased a chainsaw to take down a tree but the experience was not what he had expected.
The former Top Gear presenter admitted he had got too “hot” as he struggled to “operae the safety switches”.
He explained: “It is terrifying. You know that at any moment the chain will come off and sever your head.
But it was the frontman who caused the biggest stir, as the image of Jeremy used a gender face swap as he sported long brunette tresses.
In view of her 451,000 followers, Carol retweeted the snap and wrote: “@RichardHammond. This is funny.”
Jeremy cheekily replied: “I don’t fancy James,” in response to the cheeky post.
Elsewhere, the small-screen star recently revealed his “crush” Kristin Scott Thomas has unfollowed him on Instagram.
