He adds that “erratic, irrational” property tycoon Trump is more suited to dealing with “real estate” than weapons treaties and international security.
In a new book, he reveals Mr Trump did not know the UK had nukes when he met then-PM Theresa May in 2018.
Bolton, his former National Security Advisor, claims Trump also thought Finland was part of Russia and said that invading Venezuela would be “cool”.
In a forthcoming TV interview he says of his former boss: “I think Putin thinks he can play him like a fiddle.

Trump claimed policy hawk Bolton, who was sacked in November 2019, was “washed up”, a “liar” and “crazy”.
