BORIS JOHNSON is set to lead today’s coronavirus press briefing as he announces changes to the current lockdown rules.
The Prime Minister is expected to reveal that the two-metre social distancing restriction will be reduced to ‘one metre plus’.
This is in a bid to help businesses such as pubs reopen and see more children back in schools, as Mr Johnson plans to unveil a host of changes in the coming weeks.
This comes as Spain now allow Brits to travel to the country without quarantining upon arrival.
Portugal and Greece are set to reopen their borders to the British public in July.
The coronavirus death toll rose to 42,647 on Monday.
