A Place In The Sun star Jasmine Harman makes startling marriage discovery ‘I didn’t know’

A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman, 44, gave fans a glimpse into her wedding day with husband Jon Boast on Instagram today. The pair tied the knot back in 2009.

In view of her 39,000 followers, she shared a picture of her husband placing a kiss on her cheek as she smiled in front of their wedding car.

Jasmine looked happier than ever as she held onto her colourful bouquet of flowers embracing her new husband.

Alongside the snap, she told fans she had only discovered that the pair share their special day with Juneteenth.

The historic holiday day celebrates the official end of slavery in America, which has taken on renewed significance in recent weeks.

Jasmine met her spouse on the set of A Place In The Sun, where he worked as a camera man for seven years.

The presenter joined the overseas property show back in 2004 and has been a regular presenter on the show ever since.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk last year, Jasmine recalled a time the pair clashed on the set of the show when they worked together.

She said: “The only time I think we fell out on set was when the director was taken ill during a shoot and so with the director gone, Jon and I had to decide whether he should be in charge or whether I should be in charge.

“The shoot had to go on, that’s the only time we sort of disagreed or fell out on set.”

When asked who had the final say in the absence of the director, Jasmine added: “We both tried to push each other to do what we wanted really. In the end it didn’t work out.”

Despite the disagreement, the mother-of-two said the married couple enjoyed working together on the show as a whole.

She divulged: “It was brilliant and we saw much more of each other then then what we do now.”

A Place In The Sun continues today at 3pm on Channel 4.
